Quality is Not a Department, It's Our Culture

At Saini Exporters, quality is not merely a department or a process — it is the fundamental culture that permeates every aspect of our operations. We have implemented a comprehensive, multi-layered quality management system that covers every stage from raw material procurement through final dispatch.

Our facilities are equipped with modern testing laboratories staffed by experienced food technologists and quality control professionals who ensure that every batch meets or exceeds international food safety standards.

5-Stage Quality Control

Every product undergoes rigorous multi-stage inspection from farm to export.

1

Raw Material Inspection

Visual assessment, moisture testing, foreign matter screening, and pesticide residue analysis using GC-MS equipment.

2

Processing Monitoring

Real-time monitoring of dehydration temperature, humidity, airflow, and processing time with hygiene audits every 4 hours.

3

Laboratory Testing

Microbiological testing (TPC, yeast, mold, E.coli, Salmonella), heavy metal screening, and nutritional profiling.

4

Packaging Inspection

Seal integrity testing, net weight verification, label accuracy checks, barcode scanning, and packaging material quality.

5

Final Dispatch

Batch documentation review, container inspection, temperature logging, fumigation verification, and pre-shipment samples.

Standards We Are Pursuing

Below are the food-safety and quality frameworks we are aligning to. We will only mark a certification as "obtained" on this page once we actually hold the certificate.

HACCP — In Progress

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points — we are implementing HACCP-aligned procedures internally and with our processing partners.

  • Hazard analysis for each product line
  • Critical control points identified
  • Monitoring & corrective actions defined
  • External certification — being pursued

ISO 22000 — Planned

ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System is on our certification roadmap, scoped against our production volumes.

  • Documentation in preparation
  • Prerequisite programs (PRPs) being defined
  • Pre-audit assessment planned
  • Certification — planned

FSSAI — Required & Maintained

As an Indian food business operator, we comply with FSSAI registration and labelling requirements for any food product we trade or export.

  • Active FSSAI registration
  • Hygiene & sanitation standards followed
  • Labelling regulations adhered to
  • Compliance reviewed periodically

Halal — Planned

For Middle East and other Muslim-majority markets, we will route production through Halal-certified partner units and obtain order-level Halal certification on request.

  • Halal-compliant ingredients only
  • No cross-contamination protocols
  • Order-level Halal certificates supported
  • Facility-level certification — planned

Testing & Lab Analysis

Every batch is tested before dispatch through accredited third-party labs for the parameters agreed with the buyer.

Microbiological Testing

Total Plate Count, yeast, mold, E. coli, Salmonella and other agreed pathogens — tested through accredited labs.

Heavy Metal Screening

Lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury screening as per destination MRLs — through accredited lab analysis.

Pesticide Residue

Pesticide residue screening against EU MRL and Codex Alimentarius limits as per buyer specification.

Nutritional Profiling

Moisture, ash, protein, fiber and key nutritional parameters reported on the Certificate of Analysis.

Moisture Analysis

Precise moisture content checked for every batch — ensuring shelf stability and rehydration performance.

Foreign Matter

Sorting and screening for stones, sand, soil and other foreign matter — with documented rejection criteria.
